Sarah is a highly experienced policy professional, with 20 years of experience working in Whitehall, arms length bodies and the voluntary sector. She has specialised in strategic policy development across a range of social and criminal justice areas including anti-social behaviour and community safety; youth justice and victims’ policy. She also has expertise in child sexual exploitation and more recently led policy for the national Troubled Families Programme during which time she was responsible for developing strategies for demand reduction and integration of public services as they affect families with multiple problems.
She was also on the team which led the inspection into Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council following the Jay report into child sexual exploitation in the town. Sarah is committed to improving public services for vulnerable people and is a mum of two.
She joins Crest as their Head of Insight and Strategy leading the delivery and management of strategy and insight reports, helping Crest Advisory clients to achieve impact in the criminal justice sector.
