August saw us welcome two new starters to our growing Strategy & Insight team: Beth Mooney and Alex Stacey.
Beth joins Crest as Senior Analyst, leading on qualitative and quantitative analyses for both research and consultancy projects. Beth gained a range of experience in research across various criminal justice areas from previous roles working for the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse and most recently for the Serious and Organised Crime Research and Analysis Unit of the Home Office.
Beth said:
I've loved being part of Crest since joining a few weeks ago – the team have been so welcoming and the work is really engaging. I'm looking forward to having the chance to explore new topic areas, particularly digging deeper into county lines .
Alex is Crest's newest Analyst, working on our Maternal Imprisonment and Poliscope projects. Before joining the team, Alex worked at Southend-on-Sea Borough Council as part of the Local Government Association’s National Graduate Development Programme. There, Alex completed four work placements in various departments.
Alex said:
Having joined Crest, I'm looking forward to expanding my knowledge of justice and crime while also developing my analytical skills through being involved in several important projects, such as our work with Justice Episteme in delivering Poliscope to help police forces with their strategic planning.
